Yoga poses to suit your body
There are many benefits to practicing yoga:
- Connecting with your body and understanding it better
- Improving your mental well-being, providing some ‘you time’
- Poses that can promote strength, flexibility and balance
Classes will have a maximum of 6 individuals (a one to one session can be provided as part of your individual therapy treatment).
The NSF (National Service Framework) for long-term conditions promotes the importance of ‘achieving a sense of wellbeing’ and the need to ‘make long-term psychological adjustments’ when you have had a significant change to your life circumstances.
The MS NICE Guidelines also advocate techniques such as ‘mindfulness’ and ‘stretching exercises such as yoga’ to ‘help ease MS‑related fatigue’.
